I built my business on “Yes!” I have worked with every kind of body, every kind of personality and have basically shopped everyday for thirteen years. When I started my business in 2007, if you googled personal stylist, there was metaphorical crickets for search results. I had to make up my entire process and had no one to help me. I didn’t know any other stylists. I didn’t know any other solopreneurs, and I certainly didn’t know what I was doing. I made everything up and learned every single thing the hard way, but I wouldn’t take back one struggle because that is how I became the best.
